Hey there, folks!

My name is Lara. I am 24 years old and I live in Central Florida near Walt Disney World.

I am turning towards creation and meditation to help my mind and curiosity. I Just started sewing a little under two years ago to attempt sewing and the like, thus entirely tossing myself into the deep end. I felt I was losing control of my life and what was happening in it, so I figure why not create and feed my need for some form of stability and concentration through there? Sound like a solid enough plan?

Now I have a strong case of A.D.D. and can rarely keep my focus on one project or even on subject for long. While yes, I created this blog as an outlet for my sewing and a push to make, there will posts of other subjects or even things from about my life. But, I will make sure to properly tag and categorize them so everyone will know what they are getting into. Savvy?

  1. Hi, Lara, My name is Latrice (Trice) from SewTell. I enjoy reading your blog.
I would love to nominate your blog for the Liebster Award.
However, I need to make sure your blog has less than 200 followers.
I hope to post about the award by the end of the week. Thanks

  2. Thanks OM! And you commented on my page in return. That’s is just… awesome. Really. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to do that. πŸ™‚ It really means a lot!

  3. Hi, I like your blog, you seem very open and “this is just the way it is” attitude! Love it! You have a new follower πŸ™‚ Can’t wait for future posts to pop into my reader!! Best of luck on your journey!!

    • Haha! We do seem to, don’t we? Must be that magical time between “can kinda maybe sorta get away with being a child” and “mid-life crisis”! Though I could do without all the Taylor Swift references being tosses my way. >.< Lol. Thanks for stopping by!

That’s the exact reason behind my name! We’re not young teenagers but we’re not really adults at twenty. We’re literally stuck in the inbetween. I’m sure you’ve found a sense of comfort in blogging and finding people in similar situations?!

      • It is never not entertaining at least. Haha. I’m assuming you have as well? It is also a point that thanks to being in this in between is no one cares one or the other about what we have to say. Too old to be curious about and too young to be taken serious.

Absolutely! And I agree completely, it sounds so cliche but I was just so shocked by the way the twenties have started for me. It’s so mentally confusing and this society just works against us. If you’re interested in reading my about me/backstory I really think you could relate!
